PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF LOST PASSPORT NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR LOST PASSPORT REPLACEMENT

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah wishes to inform all Filipinos within its area of responsibility that, in its desire to provide more expeditious and efficient service, it is reducing its requirements for replacement of lost passports.  More specifically, the Consulate shall, henceforth, no longer require applicants for lost passport replacement to submit a proof of publication of Notice of Lost Passport.

The requirements for the processing of replacements for lost passports are the following:

  1. Personal appearance;
  2. Duly accomplished Passport Application Form;
  3. Photocopy of lost Philippine passport, if available;
  4. 15-day waiting period to allow issuance verification from Manila or the appropriate place of issuance if not issued by PCG Jeddah;
  5. Police Report on the loss of the passport and its translation into English;
  6. Two (2) copies of the Affidavit of Loss;
  7. Fee: SR460.00 (for Lost MRP or MRRP) and SR700.00 (for Lost ePassport).

This procedure shall be effective immediately.
