(as of 01 July 2010)  We receive requests for facilitation with Saudi authorities for the issuance of police clearances which are often used for immigration to countries.  The Saudi police will issue any resident a police clearance upon endorsement by the Consulate. If the requesting party is no longer in the Kingdom, the Consulate issues a Certificate of No Derogatory Record.

A. If applicant is in Jeddah/Western Region:

For applicants in Jeddah or any province of the Western Region, the Consulate General will endorse the application for Police Clearance to the Office of the Director of the Police Department, Jeddah.

  1. Copy of valid Philippine Passport
  2. Copy of valid Saudi Iqama/Residence Permit
  3. Fee: SR100.00

B. If applicant is outside Jeddah/in the Philippines:

For applicants outside Jeddah, a Certificate of No Derogatory Record, in lieu of a Police Clearance, will be issued.  The Saudi government, as a matter of policy, does not issue a Police clearance to foreigners who are outside the Kingdom.

Applicants in the Philippines should apply for the said Certificate at the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs (OUMWA).  OUMWA will forward the application to the Consulate General for issuance of said Certificate.

  1. Copy of previous passport/s showing date of entry and exit from Jeddah
  2. Copy of Employment Certificate during the period of stay in Jeddah
  3. Fee: PhP1,160 payable to the Cashier Section, 4th Floor, Office of Fiscal Management, Department of Foreign Affairs
